No, Marcia Huffman is not some kind of lovechild created between Desperate Housewives co-stars Felicity Huffman and Marcia Cross. The term does, however, quite succinctly explain a brief pairing the two shared at the GLAAD awards in 2005.
Huffman and Cross appeared on-stage at the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation awards ceremony to present a joint speech; before they could start, however, Huffman latched herself onto Cross’ face for a brief but obviously notable kiss. Never one to spoil the moment, Cross not only returned the favor but looked ready to start another one.
Naturally news spread quickly, and the video of the kiss appeared like wildfire on internet sites everywhere. And, since it’s obviously a hot topic for males and females everywhere (you can’t deny that they’re both gorgeous women, after all), the movie is still quite easy to find.
